So you probably need to use something along the lines of
myString += myChange.words.everyItem().contents + '\t';
myString += myChange.characters.everyItem().contents + '\t';

Can we get the deleted contents?
The lines I wrote above work for deleted contents.
Your problem is you are not deleting anything for it to show because you have started to track the story from it's creation.
If you first create a story and then start tracking it and add, delete etc. your'll see the scripts get also the deleted ones.
