I have an html textfield using embedded fonts. I found that because I am using an embedded font I am not able to use html tags like <b> <i> and <u>. I found a solution with bold and italics by embedding the bold and italic version of each font and then use the font tag and set the face to the bold or italic version of the font. The problem I now face is that there is no font face that is strictly underlined. So how do I underline my text?
you can use those tags. just assign htmlText to your textfield when using html tags.
I have htmlText assigned. If it weren’t an embedded font but instead a device font it works great. Having an embedded font simply using those tags does not display correctly on a users computer that does not have that font installed on their machine.
hmm turns out it was working all along. I just was looking in the wrong place. <u> does infact underline the text even on systems where the font has not been installed. Thanks for your answer as it forced me to double check things.
