    Junk characters  (‘hn’ changed to ‘Ÿ’ in pdf)

      As already discussed about this issue in adobe forum (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/792075). Still the issue hasn’t resolved.


      We are getting the same issue in InDesign CS6.


      The problem occurs only if we use ligatures in paragraphs, some of the letter pairs are joined into single glyphs in pdf. It happens due to font corrupt and also occurs in rare cases.


      In InDesign:

      We are frequently clearing the font cache as well. Eventhough we are getting the same issue. In the above mentioned thread, they mentioned that deleting the InDesign preference could solve the issue. All the solutions are not a exact solution.


      Anybody please advise how to resolve it permanently.
