Did you deactivate PS before reformatting?
What error message and OS?
If you formatted your disk without first deactivating CS6 you may need to contact Adobe customer support to activated the new install or the Install may use your second activation if you did not activate two machines before.
Thanks for your help. I did not know that I needed to deactivate it but it was not an issue because the computer really was not working. How can I contact customer support? I have a current Adobe ID and can log on and find the record of the original download (2012) and the serial number but the files I download cannot be executed. I cannot find any way to contact someone except for products they are currently trying to sell.
I would appreciate anything you can tell me. Thanks!
