AME Rendered Useless as it does not Export Sound

I realize this topic is up already - but I'm amazed that Adobe has not addressed it to anybody's satisfaction.

I am trying to do something very simple.  Merge clips and batch export them.  Basica assitant editing kind of stuff.

      We shot dual system sound.

I have synched the video files in PP to the sound files and then proceeded to (render) merge them and create a new clip.  The new clips work in PP.

Everything is fine - until I try and batch export these clips so another editor can have access to them.

If I export from PP (one clip at a time, there are 200 of them) everything is fine.

However, batch exporting all the clips....or even just a single clip for that matter...from AME means the clips have no sound.

This essentially renders our workflow unusable unless I'm going to export 200 clips individual from PP.  Or if the other editor is planning to re-synch himself - a colassal waste of time.

      Do I need to un/reinstall??

I'm working on brand new imac i7.

Adobe - some guidance here please.

      Thanks

          So...maybe try another one.

          1. Record sound in-camera. (My personal choice.  Post is just soooo much easier this way, and it's the reason camera makers need to start giving us 4 channels of 24/96 PCM audio in-camera.)

          2. Just edit with the Merged Clips. (Probably the best option for now.)
