A fluid grid layout, properly coded, will work on any device. There is no need to do anything else.
It know it should work. It did so when I created this website: www.duepadroni.it , but for my second website: www.amicimieilocanda.it it fails to respond adaptive and I don't know what causes this lack of behavior. Is there something specific that I should not touch in fluid grid style sheet? I left boilerplate.css en respond.js untouched.

By default, FluidGrid Layouts use an HTML5 doc type and these tags to help support older browsers and mobile devices. For whatever reason, you chose not to use the default code which is causing your problems.
