How are you rendering them out of AE? What are your composition settings? What are your render settings in AE? What format and codec are you rendering into out of AE? What size is your Premiere Pro sequence?
Or, wait, are you importing the AE file? If so, what are your composition settings? What happens if you render out of Premiere?
Heck, we don't even know what version of the software you're using! Try answering these questions.
Hi, I'm using Premiere Pro CC and AE CC and am using the Dynamic Link to import the AE files into Premiere.
The PP sequence is 2 hours long and was shot at 720, it is still in the editing stage so have not rendered the full thing yet. I did try to render out a small section to see if the text got sharper but it didn't, and to be very honest I'm not sure what the best render settings are so have been using the H.264 YouTube 720 preset.....perhaps that is not the best but I am new to this and am learning as I go.
I have tried making the AE file much bigger and then resizing in PP to see if that helped, but that didn't work either.
My apologies for not giving the required info at the outset.
A shot in AE that's the same size as your Premiere project should look the same in Premiere as it does in AE. You may need to render your Premiere timeline so that it has a green bar over the AE area to play it back properly, but it should look the same. The fact that it doesn't look the same points to something messed up somewhere.
Are the comps in your AE project set to full resolution before you save them?
Thanks m8, I think I have to go back and check everything cos something ain't right.
Did you find an answer to this problem as I'm having the same issue
