Just bought an HP laptop from Costco. It has Windows 8.1 I have tried to download my creative cloud apps and they will not dowload, they just sit at 0 or 1 or 2 percent and then eventually stop, and I get told that something is preventing my pc from accessing the Adobe site. I have tried creating the exceptions in the McAfee firewall, my pc firewall, I have turned off the firewalls, spent 30 minutes with tech support at McAfee only to be told that it was nothing to do with McAfee. Getting really frustrated. I bought this PC for the express purpose of using my Adobe products, and now I can't even get them on my computer. Please help.
I am assuming that you are working on a Home PC, so please try these steps to fix the issue.
1. Try doing selective startup from msconfig
2. Start the Machine in Safe Mode with Networking.and try installing the apps.
Also if you have Mcafee serial no then try uninstalling it and check whether you were able to install any of the Adobe apps or not.
Please let us know if it helps.
Unfortunately, the safe mode option didn't help either
