1. Re: Help fading text along a spiral
Mylenium Feb 26, 2014 9:13 AM (in response to reindeer4)Create a luma matte based on a greyscale gradient on a path and don't use the text animators.

2. Re: Help fading text along a spiral
reindeer4 Feb 26, 2014 9:50 AM (in response to Mylenium)Thanks, Mylenium. That worked well for half of my problem. But is there a way to get rid of the text once it hits that middle area? Because the animation is sufficiently long that after disappearing, the text will reappear from the middle heading off at a tangent to the last segment of my spiral.
Thanks

3. Re: Help fading text along a spiral
Mylenium Feb 26, 2014 9:58 AM (in response to reindeer4)You can add a static text animator at the end to scale to 0% and animate the left margin/ right margin instead of the position animator.

4. Re: Help fading text along a spiral
reindeer4 Feb 26, 2014 11:16 AM (in response to Mylenium)Still struggling. Can you explain that in more detail. I am currently animating my left margin which pushes the text along the spiral. Have been fiddling with Start and End values in range selector - still can't get it. Added Scale to and in Animator 1 set that to 0.
What I want is for all letters to go to scale 0 or opacity 0 when they're about 90% of the way along the path - and then to stay scaled to 0 or opacity of 0.
Thanks for your help.
