Noel Carboni Feb 26, 2014 10:19 AM (in response to Chase Chick)I have only 24 bit displays and yet I always configure my system to use Photoshop's 30 bit Display feature on the general principle that it can't make things less accurate. With my setup I get a full 256 level gray gradient without dithering, so the steps between levels are almost invisible.
Caveat: I don't have nVidia; I use ATI. But if your display driver supports it the 30 Bit Display setting can work perfectly fine. My system is stable.
