first, reset your preferences by holding down shift-ctrl-alt while starting flash pro. you'll see a confirmation dialog if done correctly.
if that fails reinstall flash pro by uinstalling, cleanng and reinstalling per, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
I tried to hold down shft-ctrl-alt but nothing happens.
And unfornutatly can't try the re-install way as the IT despartment will have to do it.
Any other suggestions?
if you can't reinstall you probably can't fix the problem which is either a flash problem (reset/reinstall will fix) or the way flash interacts with some other running process on your computer (which requires you to shutdown various running processes while testing).
