Hi Sankoor,
what's the file format you're working with?
4K is heavy lifting (you're machine is rather well equipped, though).
In case you're source is RED 4K, I would suggest to use Dynamic Qualities in the settings to reduce the image data transfer rate (at least for playback - if you're going to use 1/2 you're actually reducing the CPU load by 75%).
If in doubt, send more detail about your project setup.
Cheers,
Patrick

ALLENT Mar 3, 2014 2:46 PM (in response to sankoor2012)You don't have NEAT VIDEO (denoiser) installed as a plugin in your Premiere Pro do you???? This will crash your system in Direct link mode (from PP to SG) almost everytime.... I also hear (Fxfactory plug-ins) do the same thing. Let me know if you have NEAT VIDEO installed and I'll send you the FIX!!

ALLENT Mar 4, 2014 7:48 AM (in response to sankoor2012)No, the Neat video de-noiser is a 3rd party plug-in, it does not come with SG CC.

Yes, it is a third party plugin. Please make sure it's updated to latest version (3.5) This will prevent SG from crashing on startup if you direct link a PR project that contains Neat video effects

R Neil Haugen Mar 5, 2014 9:34 PM (in response to sankoor2012)Sankoor,
This is actually a user-based forum. When Adobe staff jump in, it's mostly on their own time, not at work. We all might wish otherwise but for "direct" help one needs to call, try live chat, that stuff.

Please try it with a single screen setup, either by changing to single monitor setup in SG or disabling on OS. Let me know if it's more stable.
Reading the Win-error message, It seems to crash cuda in direct link. Would it be possible to provide a detailed Win Sys-report ? I'm interested in particular in installed graphics drivers etc. Please send me a PM for further instruction
Thanks
