How to check if getFormData exists without generating an Error

    akhanukov

Hi, our application lists a users documents, but to our users, it is important to know if the Document is one with data collected. The only way we know of to check if a document has data is to run a SOAP call to getFormData, which is fine (although it would be great if whether it is null or not was returned within getDocumentInfo), but when the response is an errorCode and specifically NO_FORM_DATA, we get an error in the API Request Log. It seems like there has to be another way to find out if it exists without generating errors. Any suggestions? Thanks!

          Hi,

I would advise you to contact echosign Support about this directly, you can email support at support@echosign.com.

In order to look up a specific transaction please supply them the following information:

-Echosign account log in email address

          -The Name of the Document

-The Email Address of the recipient

-The Date of the transaction (All this information can be found on your Manage tab)

          -Log information

          -API Key

Once we get this information we will be more than happy to research the issue further.

          Thanks,

          Jat
