Hello, what do you mean by it went corrupt? Were you able to save the file? Can you post a screenshot (using the forum, as the email attachments don't transfer)
Ah, oui, it's cleary corrupt. Can you post Photoshop's help>system info, so that we can see what version and updates you run, and informations about your videocard?
PSD 14.2 x 64
Processor Speed 2800 MHz
Memory to PSD 2838 MB, 70% used
Updates direct Adobe Applications Manager
Is video card called something else? I didn't want to copy the enitire System Info?
Thanks for taking the time! I'm having to work inbetween....deadlines.
First, get the 14.2.1 update.
But that does look like a video driver bug.
And Apple won't be fixing driver issues in 10.6 (or 10.7, or 10.8).
Your best bet may be turning off GPU drawing in Photoshop's preferences.
Is that the Graphics Processor? I am checking for the update now.
Updated to 14.2.1
Inverting one channel from a Multi Channel PSD file worked.
Invert not working from the original RGB image, changing to LAB mode, splitting channels and trying to invert one of the split channels. Does it have something to do with the LAB color space in Apple?
The color space changes Apple made sent me for a loop with PMS color proofs in "mail". I've had to save all my proofs as .pdf "PDF/X-1a.2001" to get around changing all PMS colors to cmyk so as not to make a customer concerned.
Previous to Snow Leopard, I could invert a LAB mode split channel with no problem.
Thanks for your feedback.
