There is no good path from ID to Quark without using the Markzware Q2ID plugin on the machine running Quark.
Can you send them a PDF to mark up instead?
I'm sure Peter knows this, but Markzware's product is called ID2Q and my guess is that it's not very big seller. Q2ID OTOH is worth every dime of the $200 it costs.
Morning Peter and thank you for the reply.
I will be hearing from the editor soon, I hope. At that time I will see if they have the Markzware plugin. It is unlikely that they have it as they are a small family history center. Output from the editor has yet to impress me to put it lightly.
Later... Thank you as well for the response Bob. Seeing what you wrote I can only offer that I find it even more unlikely that the editor will have the plugin. I almost wish she did as I have a mammoth ID CS4 file, all court documents from the early 19th Century, that did a dump that I need back.
Again, thank you gentlemen.
OOPS. I'm so used to typing it the other way for users who want to convert Quark files to ID. Thanks.
You mean you are human! Will the world come to an end tomorrow?
