I can speak to the Typekit issue and I'm sorry you ran into trouble here. I took a look at this account in Typekit. It appears that your account is the admin for the CC Team account. This account acts only as the admin for the Team but isn't counted as a user for the account and so doesn't get the same benefits.
I would suggest changing the admin for the Team account to another Adobe ID, that way your Adobe ID is freed up and can be added as a user.
