Uninstall indesign then run CS Cleaner and install again.
CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3
it's not work. i did it three times. uninstall, run cleaner, reinstall. i
did for three times, but it's not work at all.
oh by the way, there is no Adobe Indesign option in my options when i ran
Adobe Cleaner. I tried to run Adobe Creative Cloud and CS Product. but
still there is no Adobe Indesign option. So what can i do?
Do i have to remove all adobe creative cloud products and reinstall all?
peter, i tried to do ur advice. i cleaned it,i removed it, i reinstall,
but, still, it's not work at all.
i use Windows 8. Should i reinstal my windows or, is there any other way to
not reinstall windows, because i still have to design something here, but
now i don't have any adobe applications.
Is there any error message, or warning in task manager?
no warning, no error message, nothing at all. i'm confused.
What are you doing, exactly, to try to launch the program?
i just want to use indesign to design magazine. okay, the first thing
happened was, i was using indesign. meanwhile i open the other application,
then when back to use indesign, it is just hang, error, and i can't click
after that i closed indesign application, then try to reopen, but it's not
work at all. i try again and again but it couldn't be opened.
than i uninstall, reinstall, it's not work anymore. i use adobe cleaner,
and remove ALL Adobe application, try to reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud,
and until this second, STILL, indesign can not be open.
so, i'm still confuse. what should i do now? please help.
Does ID run from a different user account?
no. ID run with my own user account. no one use my computer with another
account. i can make sure about it.
I want you test by trying to run from a different user account, preferably a brand new one that you make just to do the test.
it's not work too. it's not permitted because the only user ID who can use
Adobe CC family only allowed by this email.[persoanl info removed] i use
windows 8. and to acces my computer had set to this email account. so, not
allowed by different user.

You misunderstood me. I don't mean to try to log into Creative Cloud with a new identity, I mean create a new user account on Windows 8, then restart the computer and log in to Windows as the new user. Log ont the Creative Cloud (if necessary) using your Adobe ID, then see if InDesigne will work.
i did it. it's not work also.
OK. That tells us the problem is at the program or system level, not at the user level.
Do you have administrator privileges on your account, or is it restricted?
One problem that crops up is that the permissions are not set correctly for InDesign to access the folders it needs in your user profile in order to write the preference files. I believe the paths are the same on Windows 8 as the ones shown for Windows 7 in this link: Replace Your Preferences
Both System and your user should have Full Control on the Adobe folders and subfolders in the Roaming and Local folders in the AppData directory.
Does Windows 8 provide a usable error report anywhere for you?
