          Some miscellaneous considerations....

          1. How do you have your Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 Welcome Screens configured

          Premiere Elements Welcome Screen

          2. If you open Premiere Elements 12 to the Expert workspace and click on the Organizer Tab at the bottom of the Expert workspace, can you open the Elements Organizer 12 workspace from there? If you go to Add Media/Elements Organizer, does that work?

          3. Have you tried deleting the Elements Organizer 12 Settings file to remedy any Elements Organizer malfunctions?

and in the Organizer Folder is the psa.prf file that you delete or disable. Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives needs to be in use to see the complete path.

Please consider and then let us know of your progress.

          Thank you.

I set the PSE12 Welcome screen to Organizer since it wouldn’t start

I did not change the PE12 Welcome screen.

            2. If you open Premiere Elements 12 to the Expert workspace and click on the Organizer Tab at the bottom of the Expert workspace, can you open the Elements Organizer 12 workspace from there? If you go to Add Media/Elements Organizer, does that work?

No it doesn’t start. I can see some activity for a while it then stops. it’s the same behavior independently of the way I try to start organizer but when I invoke Add Media :

Element Organizer starts using the last Catalog in use as expected when I go to “ Add Media/Elements Organizer”. That was done after I did n°3 below.

            1. 3. Have you tried deleting the Elements Organizer 12 Settings file to remedy any Elements Organizer malfunctions?

            Organizer

and in the Organizer Folder is the psa.prf file that you delete or disable. Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives needs to be in use to see the complete path.

I renamed the file psa.old. No change. I tried to start Organizer from the PE12 welcome screen. The « marching ants » starts and then stops after a while. File psa.prf was not recreated?

            Thank you
