Since your question is really about Premiere Elements and not Photoshop Elements, I will edit the title and move this over there for you.

Can you give us this a bit more information on what you are doing, and what might not be happening?

When you have a Project Open in PrE, you can Publish+Share the Timeline to many file formats, plus to a DVD, and AVCHD disc, or to a BD (Blu-ray Disc). Those operations should all be available in the Publish+Share Panel (note: to get to some, you might need to scroll down the list of options, and the scroll bar is not easy to spot, but is along the far right-hand side of the Panel.

Now, if one wishes to Publish+Share to a disc, they can add Menus, or leave those out, for an AutoPlay disc. For the Menus, in PrE 11 & PrE 12, those need to be downloaded from the Internet, to be used.

              • Can you tell us all about your Project, please?
              • Is this an HD (High Def), or SD (Standard Def) Project?
              • What is the Duration of the Timeline?
              • Do you wish to author it to a DVD-Video, an AVCHD Disc (similar to a DVD-Video, as it uses a standard blank DVD disc, but can only be played on a BD player, or BD multi-drive), or to a BD to be played on a BD player, or BD multi-drive?
              • If you do want Menus, have you downloaded those, or at least the ones that you want, from the Internet?

Good luck, and please give us a bit more, with which to work.

                Please define your workflow.

We are assuming that you have the Premiere Elements 12 project set correctly at the point that your problems set in.

Where are you heading for in this project

DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc for playback on the TV DVD player

                AVCHD format on DVD disc

Blu-ray Disc Format on Blu-ray disc

Let us assume, DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc.

                a. If you are going to use a disc menu, while you are still in the Edit phase, place your Timeline menu markers

                b. Then move on to applying disc menu, assuming you want disc menu. If you do, then Tools Menu/Movie Menu/pick your menu (if blue ban at top right of thumbnail, download the menu first/when menu is in downloaded status, click Continue. When you have customized your applied disc menu in the Movie Menu customization area, click Preview to see what you have, click Done if satified.

                c. If no menus wanted, omit the menu markers, and from Edit go directly to Publish+Share/ and click No to wanting to use menus.

                d. Then you click on Publish+Share/Disc/DVD disc (your DVD disc is already in the tray of your DVD burner). In the burn dialog, select the preset that applied to you (NTSC or PAL, Standard or Widescreen).

Please review the above and let us know if any or all of that works for you. If not, please supply more information on where it does not.

                Thank you.
