As long as the drive you're installing to is your C drive -- and you have adequate space for your programs -- you should be okay.
I think this is for Premiere Pro, but the idea should be the same for telling Premiere Elements to put project and/or data files on something other than your C drive

Thanks guys I have just received the disks now just waiting on the new computer to arrive , I,m still a little confused that if I install the program to what I have been told is my ssd drive on c. How when I upload photos/ video into the organiser which will also be in c. The ssd drive.
how I actually keep the data for them on the I expect is a D drive my 500gb standard drive .
When you have your computer set up, with your SSD, and any additional HDD's, please let us know the exact layout of your I/O (Input/Output - all of your discs) system. Someone here can direct you to the most efficient use of those disc for video editing.
