I've been using Premiere Elements 10 on a weekly basis for 2+ years.
Suddenly, the preview window is not working.
I can drag clips into the timeline, apply edits, etc... but if I try to play/preview the video, the upper left hand window is gray or blank. When I click on the window, the current frame from the video will appear, but not change.
If I double-click a clip to preview, same thing.
This occurs with .avi and .mp4
I am NOT having this trouble with other editors/players (Windows Movie Maker, Windows Media Player, iTunes)
I suspect this has to do with the most recent nvidia driver update, but not sure.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580
Driver version: 184.108.40.20689
This issue has already been resolved in the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA Roll Back thread
There you reported that you have found and named the older NVIDIA video card driver version that got your Premiere Elements 10 working for you.
