nealeh Mar 5, 2014 10:09 AM (in response to heather Iles)Heather, is your goal to completely isolate the bike or just remove certain elements of the background?
Cheers,

heather Iles Mar 5, 2014 11:33 AM (in response to nealeh)Hi Neal
My goal is to have a photo of the bike without the distracting clutter in the background which is all the usual things one would find in a garage. The background could be a plain white or cream.
Thank you for taking the trouble to get in touch.

Bill Hunt Mar 5, 2014 4:58 PM (in response to heather Iles)Heather,
Glad that you are getting some assistance with this project.
This is where I am not sure what PsE offers vs Ps (where you posted first), but once you have the Selections made, as instructed, if PsE has a Quick Mask Mode (my ignorance is showing here), you should be able to do touch-up on the Selection, to be used as a Mask. It's simple and can take a rough Selection to perfection, with but a little work with the Brush Tool. Others, who know PsE can direct you better than I can. Creating a perfect Mask takes a bit of work, but the results will be rewarding. With the Selection Tools, you are almost there.
Good luck,
Hunt
