Recently, I have been given a project from a client involving a lot of Arabic text. Now, we all know that since CS4, InDesign allows us to type Arabic and Hebrew even if we don't have the Middle East version.
However, I've hit a big problem in my work. There are quite a lot of footnotes in the text so I have been trying to add those, but each time I add a footnote the text only goes from left to right and not right to left [as Arabic is written].
I need help pronto, so please help out if you can. Would appreciate the support.
You can make a paragraph style for arabic footnote that direction from RTL and alignment to right.
ِAh, got it. Thanks!
But, there's another problem. The rule above the footnotes still remains to the left and does not move to the right?
Type>document footnot options>layout>left indent ( changing the setting)
