1. Re: Franchise website multi site implementation
Lynda Spangler Mar 7, 2014 4:20 PM (in response to madasafish77)You could create a new site as you mentioned then limit the permissions in the admin so the user can only update/change what you would like them.
For instance you create the site and limit their permissions to only be able to post on the blogs. Thus they can create new blog post without being able to change everything else.
You should look at what permissions you can and cannot control to see if it will work for you.
Hope that helps.

2. Re: Franchise website multi site implementation
madasafish77 Mar 8, 2014 5:35 AM (in response to Lynda Spangler)Hi Lynda,
Great, I never thought of that. Say I wanted to create a small micro site for each franchisee who have signed up, would I do this in a web app and have a web app item that stores all the details for each micro site and a unique template for each of the franchise businesses that have been added, or would it be better to create a separate site for each franchise business. I'm just thinking if the owner of the franchise wants to add an advert to the sites of all the franchisee's then the each site would have to exist within the one BC account, is that correct?
Thanks for your help. I'm just trying to get my head around BC and how it can be setup for this type of setup.

Machinette Nov 3, 2014 9:22 PM (in response to madasafish77)Did yo find a solution for this matter??
I know its been a long time since you asked but instead of duplicating the main site over and over you could use subdomains and manage all contents / secure zones through webapps.
I am working in something similar and solved that way, I am a bit stock with managing all forms / notifications. Gonna open a question to discuss what would be the best approach.
