Welcome to the forum.
However, I suspect that this question applies to Adobe Photoshop Elements 11, rather than Premiere Elements 11. Can you please confirm that?
One of the main reasons for my suspicion is the use of "filters," which are used in Photoshop Elements, where "Effects" is used in Premiere Elements. Those two have some similar, yet different functions.
Please let us know a bit more, and if you ARE using Photoshop Elements, and referring to its Filters, we can Move your post to that very helpful and active forum.
Yours is a known issue.
What you present does not appear to be a new issue. Please see following Photoshop Elements 11 Mac (Maverick) thread which seems to go back 4 months ago....
This one goes back to October - November 2013 and was written by Barbara Brundage
When your thread gets to the Photoshop Elements Forum, Barbara Brundage can give you an update on this matter.
Moved my message but can't see to delete my orginal post - if anyone can please do so.
I found your reposted thread in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum
A moderator here will take care of the Photoshop Elements thread that you posted here.
Hoping that a fix is now available for this known Photoshop Elements 11 Mac issue that you presented.
As you are using Photoshop Elements, and have reposted there, I will Lock this thread, so that all discussion can continue there.
