Greetings from Adobe.
Can you please confirm the Adobe Presenter version in which you have imported and published your SWF File ( created in ActionScript 2 ) ?
Since Adobe Presenter 7.0.7 or later only supports ActionScript 3 and that might be the reason your SWF file is not working as it was created in ActionScript 2.
Well, that is the answer then. I created it Presenter 9. Can you please advise where in the documentation it states that Presenter now supports only Actionscrtipt 3? Thank you.

Release notes for Presenter 7.0.7 stating that it now supports AS3. http://helpx.adobe.com/presenter/release-note/release-notes-presenter-7-0.html
Also note Known Issue #2 on that document.
Thank you! It would be very helpful to the community if there was some way to consoldate this type of information across product releases. Not having it readily available (that is, needing to go back two product releases for the release notes) makes it very difficult to troubleshoot problems on our own.
While I do agree that it would be good to have this type of information consolidated, I believe the thought process was that AS3 is the prefered language for Flash at this point, as has been since aprox. 2006. Presenter and Connect were behind the times and slow to catch up.
I suppose we could always look to have the community help setup a Wikipedia page for Presenter (there currently isn't one) to place this kind of information in one location.
