Once the AAMUpdater popped up when I was connecting to the Internet via the VPN, I just closed it, thinking about doing it next time for it was too late.
But now it turns out that the AAMUpdater can no longer connect to Updater Server without the VPN connection.
The error message "The update server is not responding. The server may be offline temporarily, or the internet or firewall settings may be incorrect" immediately disappers when I connects to the VPN.
I'm not sure what's going on here.
Thank you for your reply.
I've checked the items listed under the subtitle "Troubleshoot connectivity issues":
I have access to the activation servers
I can access secure sites
The GlobalSign Root CA certificate is enabled.
I even tried to cancle my activation and re-activated the product. However, still, the AAMUpdater cannot connect to Updater Server when the VPN is off. But it CAN when VPN is on.
This is strange. For I could always update successfully via AAMUpdater without VPN connection before I closed the AAMUpdater which popped up when I was connecting to the internet via VPN as I mentioned in my last post.
If there's more information about my environment that is needed, please let me know.
