I'm using after effects CS6 to track the upper and lower lip of a moving vocalizing animal, I then want to obtain the coordinates so that I can easily compute the distance between the upper and lower lip at any given time. I used to be able to just select the markers and get the entire row of number for the whole flim clip in an older version of after effects, but now I can only find the coordinats for each individual frame, is there a way to easily obtain all the coordinates from a track?
What motion tracking feature are you using. I.e., how exactly are you doing your motion tracking?
Nothing has changed. Press the U key with the layer you applied tracking info to or the layer you tracked and you'll see a row of keyframes. Copy the row of keyframes and paste into a text editor and you'll get columns of values. AE has worked this way for as long as I can remember.
thanks a million, I expected to see the column of numbers straight away and didn't try to just copy the tracker! :-)
