How are you creating the child page from the template? (what steps are you using exactly?)
Is the template .dwt file inside the automatically generated Templates folder in your site root? (if it's not, it needs to be moved back from within the Files window)
Have you saved the child page yet? (child pages from templates will appear to have bad links until they are saved to your site)
yes, the answer is in the code. Unfortunately, I am not fluent
enough to figure out. Here is part of the code of the child page.
[Sidewalks | Sidewalks.html]
[Drainage | Drainage.html]
Putnam Business Park | 1689 Route 22 | Brewster, New York
845-279-2220 | email@example.com
| fax 845-279-8909
|| Gallery </div>
<!-- InstanceEnd --></html
What happens when you say "don't work"? The links in the code you posted look fine (and look exactly like I would expect a child page link to look) -
<p>[Home | index.html] | <a href="Projects.html">Projects </a> | <a href="Services.html">Services </a> </p>
<p>| <a href="Profile.html">Profile </a> | <a href="Gallery.html">Gallery </a> | [References | References.html] | <a href="Resumes.html">Resumes </a> | <a href="Site%20Map.html">Site Map<br /></a> </p>
Can you show us the corresponding section of the template page, please? If you would preview the template file, do the links work there?
Do the links work when you preview any other non-template page?
