InDesign CS2 was never supposed to be used on Windows 7. This OS was years later developed than InDesign CS2 development was finished. You are out of luck with this version. You need to buy a new version.
CS2 runs just fine here in XP mode. I suspect the problem is the activation, which can no longer be accomplished becasue the activation servers were shut down. For licensed users of CS2 programs Adobe has posted downloads of versions that do not require activation at Adobe - CS2 Downloads
