Buy a bigger SSD drive... at least some Adobe program "must" be installed to the C drive or they do not work properly
That's hardly a good answer. Especially considering that Edge Code, a lightweight HTML editor, has no reason to need to be on the C drive. See the fact that I can install Brackets on whatever drive I want.
Looking in the forum index http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa I do not find an Adobe program named Brackets, so that program would seem to have nothing to do with Adobe... http://brackets.io/ is an open source program, not controlled by Adobe
I can't provide a "good" answer... I can only tell you what I have read in many forums... Adobe has locations "hard wired" into some (many?) programs
You may think the program does not "need" to be installed on the C drive... it seems clear that the Adobe software engineers think differently

Brackets is the open source project that Edge Code is nothing more then a rebranded version of. Edge Code is to Brackets as Chrome is to Chromium.
Except Brackets can be installed anywhere fine. Theoretically Edge Code should be able to as well, I am thinking this is not an issue with Edge Code itself so much as the Adobe CC installer.
