I need to go back and read your previous thread again, but for now.....
When you reopened the current project now, are you getting "Where are the files.....?" messages or just the colorful media offline
If you go to the project's imported media originals saved on the C drive, are they still where they were when you imported them into the
current project? Is that drive letter still C: ?
I get the Media Off-line graphic and if I click the file pulldown "open project" it gives me the dialog box and "where is the file.
I checked the clips location and they're still in the same place on the hard drive.
The path to the clip folders is C:/users/donker/videos/lMkLibrary/canon.
Also, if I plug the camera back into the computer, I get he graphic Media Pending, then the project opens. But it froze up several times unlike the other day when it worked perfectly (no stalling, etc.)
I can locate and open the clip folders but when I go to where the project is and attempt to open it get "this type of file is not supported or the correct Codec is not installed.

How many files are missing? What is the total number of files in the project?
I still need to go back to your earlier thread to review all the prior discussion details, but...
Have we tried this...
When you open your project now
a. You know where the source media are. They are where they should be and apparently not damaged.
b. When you open your project, are you greeted by the "Where is the file....?" messages. If so, click Skip All to the first one of these so that the project opens to the workspace.
c. In the workspace, you should see colorful media offline displays all over the place. Go to the Project Assets area.
The thumbnails there for the imported files should have the missing media logos. Right click on one of the thumbnails, select
Replace Footage, go to where you know that file name is on the hard drive, click on the file at its know location, click Open
in the Replace Footage dialog. Do that for each of the missing.
d. Do you have to do that for all? Or, after you do one or two, do the rest automatically return to "normal"?
I will look for further progress in the morning.
Also..Check all your drive letters to make sure that they are not changing.
