Is there a way to format a time field in a form without using colon?
Here's why I ask:
The form is a field retrieval form.We are hoping to have this as easy and streamlined as possible. There's a couple of formatting issues that I see.
1. If I make it a time format and try to fill it in on my mobile device it brings up the letter keypad so I have to click to get to numeric AND I have to type a colon (otherwise I get an error). This doesn't seem like a big deal but I have 30 time fields...
2. If I make it a numeric field and try to fill it in on my mobile device it brings up the numeric keypad with no colon. The problem here is when I try to export the responses from formscentral to excel...then I have to compute the time from an excel formula...again, not a big deal but I have 30 time fields.
3. If I make it a custom time field (HHMM) it doesn't work either.
Is there any way to accomplish what I want?
Ideally when I click on the field it brings up a numeric keypad and without typing a colon, excel recognizes it as time (HH:MM).
Is this question about Adobe FormsCentral or are you creating a PDF form in Adobe Acrobat?
FormsCentral does not have a "Time" field so I am thinking this is an Acrobat question and should be posted here: http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat/forms
Woops. Posted wrong place. Thanks
