Steven L. Gotz Mar 12, 2014 9:11 PM (in response to ALLENT)It depends. You will want to pay more attention to the effects you use so that you stick with the CUDA accelerated ones as much as possible. And certainly, make sure you are using the harware aqccelerated Mecury settings.
I don't know if I see an increase in speed, but since I no longer have to render except once in a blue moon, I would say the performance is far superior.
I only have the 4G GTX670, not quite as powerful, but I have no complaints.

Kuhnen Brown Mar 13, 2014 1:52 AM (in response to Steven L. Gotz)What Steven said. I have the 2gb GTX 680 in a 2009 Mac Pro. Incredible performance with Premiere Pro CC using RAID drives and only 16GB memory. Works great in a 1K video paradigm. You should notice the difference right away.
