you need to dispatch an event (in your class) when the fade is completed and you must use a listener to check for that "fadeCompleted" event. (plus, you need an event argument in your fadeCompleted handler fadeClipComplete().
for example, after your trace("FADE COMPLETED FROM CLASS" + evCompleteEvent) statement use:
