Live 3D Painting Connection Broken After Undo Command

    internetcalvin

I've been excited to dig into Photoshop's Live 3D Painting, as demonstrated here: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/3d-painting-photoshop.html

I am able to successfully set the 2-up Vertical panels and the live update between the two works fantastically for a period, but it seems like when I hit the Undo or Step Backward commands, the connection becomes "visually broken".

I say visually broken because I can still paint in either panel (on the model or the texture) and my strokes will appear in that panel, but they will not appear in the other panel, nor will the "live cursor". It will look like your source and your model are showing different textures, but once you save, close, and re-open both files, it seems to resolve the discrepancy.

So yeah, this is a big workflow PITA. Every 5 or 10 minutes I find myself having to save everything out, close everything, re-open, and re-set up my panels in order to continue working with Live 3D Painting.

Anyone else having issues like this?
