I want to use the same xml "field" content twice on the same xml form in Indesign.
It is NOT really a repeating element since I want to use the same content twice.
For example, I want to have a field produce a bar code and then show the bar code number below it.
So it would really be "barcode" over "barcode" in two different text boxes. So far I cannot get it to fill both with the same content.
I would duplicate the element with the barcode number and rename one of them in the XML before importing it. You should be able to find an XSLT on-line to run against your XML (I would use an XML editor for this) to copy the current element to immediately following it and rename it all at once through the whole file.
