Email Campaigns will not display images on gmail accounts sent through business catalyst

However, I suspect this is related to your HTML and CSS within this particular email campaign. Keep in mind that certain CSS is not supported across all email clients, as per this article: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/. Are the paths relative or absolute?

This is happening to us at the moment.  Started a support chat...the support person spent time looking, and even let me send a test to tehir gmail account for preview...

But in the end concluded that its gmails issue, not theirs.

Not sure if that customer service, or passing the buck.  How could we know?

Anyway, still stuck with gmail not displaying images at the moment when sent through biz cat.  Other clients work very well (outlook, and mac mail).

Have you clicked the "show images" bit in gmail to load the images?

Yes, inside the settings section of gmail.  It seems that when gmail went to the all images are shown by default system...things went wonky for a lot of people...and have continued to be wonky periodically.

That being said, biz cat is arguably the most ridiculous CMS I've ever seen...its logic free...so I'm not surprised that we've encountered this problem with email blasts.
