    Updating Creative Cloud desktop on Windows 8.1 seemingly never completes!



      When updating Creative Cloud desktop using Windows 8.1:


      The Adobe Installer displays "Updating Creative Cloud desktop" and shows the progress as being 99.99% complete.


      This condition continues and the update seemingly never finishes.


      So far, the status of this dialog has remained the same for over an hour.


      Please let me know how to fix this issue.
