Moving this post to the general InDesign forum.
Create your a 2 page (11x17)doc. Put two frames (8.5x11) on the two pages. Link the frames so that on page one you get frame 4 (left) and frame 1 (right side). On the second page the order should be 3 (left) 2 (right).
When printing on both sides, the folding should be ok.
The second page should be page 2 (left) and page 3 (right).
I meant I always opened with a 17" x 11" & then created a fold at 8.5". I would have a back page (left) and a front page (right) for the printer. I would continue this. ( by folding a piece of paper in 4th, 8ths or whatever even pages I needed and mark them accordingly for the printer).
Should I do the same for In Design?
It's probably easier to make 2 two page spreads and fill them accordingly. You can also make a single 4 page spread and do the same as you have done before.
