1. Re: Slidshow autoplay on object state view not on page load
Bob Bringhurst - Adobe Mar 19, 2014 2:47 PM (in response to Chicago_Guy1980)You can nest a separate MSO in the third tab that's set to auto play and stop at last frame. To nest an MSO, you create a text frame in the target state and then insert the MSO as an anchor. For more detailed instructions, see DPS Tips > Advanced Overlays > Nested Slideshows.

5. Re: Slidshow autoplay on object state view not on page load
Chicago_Guy1980 Apr 1, 2014 9:06 AM (in response to BobLevine)Thanks both Bob's. That ended up working for me. The issue I am having now is if I switch the slideshow the "Export formate in PDF Articles" to vector, when it crossfades it seems to be pulsing. If the export formate is set to Raster I do not get this issue, but everything low res and hard to read.

7. Re: Slidshow autoplay on object state view not on page load
Chicago_Guy1980 Apr 2, 2014 2:09 PM (in response to BobLevine)I have tabs set up as MSO when you go to the desired tab it is set to autoplay a slide show. When I follow the steps in the above link and paste it into a text box it no longer plays. I need to find a way to set it to vector and not pulse, but also autoplay.

9. Re: Slidshow autoplay on object state view not on page load
Chicago_Guy1980 Apr 3, 2014 7:09 AM (in response to BobLevine)There are three tabs set up. When you click on a tab it goes to to a different state. When you get to one of the tabs it has a bar chart set up to auto-play 20 different bars to crossfade in one-by-one. This is the object that is pulsing each time a bar come in. If I set the export formate to raster it does not pulse. If I set it to vector that is when it pulses. If I try your method in the link above and paste the MSO into another box and set it up as a scrollable frame the slideshow no longer auto-plays. I did find a workaround and just had the chart static and made the bars each a MSO, but was hoping there was another way to accomplish this.

BobLevine Apr 8, 2014 7:15 AM (in response to Chicago_Guy1980)For that type of animation you'd be far better off using an image sequence.

12. Re: Slidshow autoplay on object state view not on page load
Chicago_Guy1980 Apr 8, 2014 10:52 AM (in response to BobLevine)The problem with that is in Indesign you can only play 60fps that is way to fast. Each bar needs to come in every .25sec.
