Adobe Encore CS6 6.0.1.013
iMac 27" Dec 2013 model w/ OSX 10.8.5
Adobe CS5, CS6 and CC installed.
Hmm. Its a bit confusing.
I downloaded PremierePro_6_Content_LS7.dmg and ran the installers
then downloaded EncoreContentEnglish.zip which extracted en-US.7z
3.7Gb of what appears to be all menus and the buttons and like that belong to them
But no buttons appear when the "button" toggle is activated, or any toggles to the right of the "menu" toggle
After installing these I only see menus.
Note that it wouldn't let me change the install location from the crashed drive I no longer have. But it did create a new folder in volumes with that name.
I had to manually move the files to the encore cs6 folder in applications.
I must also download EncoreContent_en-US.zip?
Seems kinda convoluted but in progress.
Okay I downloaded that file but it seems to be the same crap. I will try to install it anyways.
Okay. Finally after downloaded a larger packed version of the en-us.ls7 the buttons and such are there.
Apparently there is a smaller packed version of the en-us encore assets that is the source of this confusion, since applying it doesn't restore the buttons and such.
Glad you have the content now.
I don't believe there are differences in the content of the "full" downloads (small vs full size), but some users (more on Macs?) have faulty/corrupt downloads.
For those looking at this thread, use this link:
There is no 7z in the process, just one zip and put the files where they belong.
The PremierePro_6_Content_LS7 file is an installer, and does not include more than the limited number of templates (no separate buttons etc). I do not see any advantage in it over the EncoreContent_en-US.zip at the link I just gave.
There was an advantage for all CS6 install, since it put the styles, etc in the right place, but with CC installs, and full library installs, you have to place them manually.
