    How do I remove JavaScript when saving?

      I have several templates I've made for my co-workers that used Document Level JS.  I want this JS to disappear when my co-workers save the PDF as something else.

      For example,  I'm using the following syntax:

      getField("Date").value = util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy", new Date());

      This will update the date each time it is opened.  However, I only want this in the template.  When template.pdf is re-saved as workdocument.pdf, I want that JS gone, so the date no longer continues to update.  I'm sure this is something simple I'm missing but my Google-Fu is failing me.

      Any help?
