My team uses Pongrass to put our newspaper together, when ever 1 or 2 users use their spell check it crashes.
this is the report in the events log.
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0018c6dd
Faulting process id: 0x2ae8
Faulting application start time: 0x01cf44db5691d74e
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\InDesign.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\Required\TEXT.RPLN
Report Id: bb2b9d41-b0ce-11e3-b275-10604b7df428
I did try to replace the TEXT.RPLN with one from a working PC, that did not work.
Does anyone use pongrass? ( it plugs-in Indesign) also when not working in pongrass, just thru indesign CS5 5.5, the spell check still crashes. the removing of preferences does not help.
Thanks for taking the time
As it's a plugin it's not an InDesign issue.
Try removing the plugin and see if the problem persists. This will tell you if the plugin is causing the issue or InDesign itself.
The only thing you could try is replacing your preferences.
If the problem is with the plugin you need to contact Pongrass.
I Did all that, still not working. Please note this only happens on 1-2 PCs.The other 11 PC's dont have this issue. My IT Guy said he did reinstall, However im busy with a reinstall now. It happens without the plug-in too. So its a indesign issue.
Thanks for your time
all working thanks
