    Detecting scenes

In PE11 I have a clip, an mp4-file, 35 minutes long containing around 100 scenes. However, on the timeline the clip is presented as one scene, 35 minutes long. How can I get PE11 to detect and to show the scenes on the timline?

What you seek may not be possible, that is, getting all of your 100 scenes.

But, try right clicking on the thumbnail for your video in Project Assets and then select Run AutoAnalzyer.

Then wait for the process to complete. When the process is complete look for a thumbnail in Project Assets which

is a "stack" of the scene detected. The screenshot shows the original video thumbnail and to its right the "stack" after Run AutoAnalyzer.

          auto.JPG

Click on the triangle in the right thumbnail to open the "stack". You do have the opportunity

to create folders in Project Assets (if needed). See Project Assets Panel Options/New Folder.

Please let us know if you are OK with the information above.

          Thanks.

            Hi,

It worked almost 100%. Just a few scenes were missed!

            Many thanks for your assistance!
