Where and how are you applying that code to this component? How are you
defining the function "click"?
If you are using a Flash Component, you need to select the sprite, then
open the "Flash Component" tab of the Property Inspector window. Set the
"eventPassMode" to #passAlways. This will allow the mouse event to pass
out of the component and back to Director. Otherwise, the mouse event
will be captured by the component and will execute any code you have
inside the component itself.

Hi. Thanks for the help. "eventPassMode" to #passAlways was the partial answer. The only thing that doesn't work anymore is the event 'click' as it worked in the former version of the flash asset. Using 'mouseDown' instead of it works fine.
I'm facing the same problem but only when i launch the project in shockwave mode. When in projector mode i have no problem what so ever in "click" events of the flash buttons. So for Shockwave mode i've implemented the mousedown workaround and it works, but i'm also using a List component (flash component) and on that i use the "change" handler and for that the mousedown workaround doesn't work.
I would like to know if there is any solution for that?
Well solved! I had to uninstall my Shockwave player and reinstall it again. Now everything is back to normal.
