Uh, your question is next to useless...what version of Photoshop? What version of Camera Raw? What version of Mac OS X? You got a lot of explaining to do Lucy if you expect anybody to help you...some basic troubleshooting 101 would be useful.
Also which camera make and model are the Raw files from?
Sorry my posting wasn’t complete. Shooting with a Nikon d7100, using an Apple MAC (27” screen) 2.9GHz Core i5 32GB memory, 1T+ storage, running OS X 10.9.2. Adobe CS6 Extended rev. 13.0 x64.
Trying to load in RAW files and cannot load or find the patch or plug in to allow it to work.
The Nikon D7100 was first supported in Camera Raw 7.4 which is compatible with CS6 and later.
In Photoshop, click Help > Updates to update Camera Raw.
Once updated, check the installed version of Camera Raw: Photoshop > About Plug-Ins > Camera Raw. It should report version 8.3.
If not, download Camera Raw 8.3 from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Macintosh and install it manually.
Thank you. My system was running 7.4 plugin. Downloaded 8.3 and it works fine.
