Yes, BC is a great option. We use it for all our clients.
Conversly, if you're not using BC, then let's start with who are you using for the outbound newsletter? Constant Contact? Mail Chimp?
Either one of those should have a "sign-up" form you can embed into the Muse site.

I'm having this same issue. I do not use BC for hosting, and I am using Get Response for newsletters. I have a nicely designed form I have built in Muse that flow with the rest of the site. Is there any way to use this Muse form, or am I going to have to embed a Get Response form?
