I did but it takes 24 hours for them to reply and they don't did not get the problem on the first try.
If that happened to someone before, that might solve my problem faster.

There have been several people with the same problem. It was only solved
by talking to Adobe directly. You are trying to use a suite serial
number to upgrade to a stand alone product. It appears the wording for
which products qualify for what upgrades is vague.
The same thing happened to me. It turns out you can't upgrade that way - at least that's the way the Adobe rep explained it. You have to purchase the full version (non-upgrade) or purchase a CS3 suite upgrade that includes Fireworks (Web or the Master Collection). The Adobe reps are nice enough though and you should get refunded if you follow their directions which involves sending them a Letter of Distruction and your removing and destroying your copy of the upgrade. But it is kind of lame that a MX 2004 Suite serial doesn't work to upgrade Fireworks.
