My After Effects (11?) cs6 will no longer open on my mid 2011 21.5 imac. I have been running it and the rest of the production premium suite for about a year now and have had no troubles with them up until now.
Everytime I open it up it quickly flashes from the splash screen to an After Effects Alert. The alert says
Last log message was: <140735312810768> <GPUManager> <2> Sniffer Result Code :3.
I am running osx 10.9.2 and Adobe cs6.
I have a AMD Radeon HD 6750m 512 MB graphics card (I believe, I really don't know much about computer parts) and have not had an issue running AE on this before.
I have tried unistalling and reinstalling but the program still won't work. I did the update for them and they still didn't work.
I have no idea what could be causing this problem because it was working fine on Tuesday last week, but when I came in Wednesday and tried to open it this message apperared. I didn't run any updates for anything through the night.
I've been seeing a lot of people with this error message after they tried to install CUDA on their AMD graphics cards. If you did that, that's what the problem is. CUDA is an NVIDIA technology and it will really screw with a computer that's using an AMD card. Read this.
Also, what version of CS6 are you running? 11.0.4? 11.0.2?
Thanks so much! I deleted the CUDA files and now they work!
Glad you're working again!
